Terms & Privacy
Our Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy for mobile cocktail making class bookings with Blayss Mix.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern bookings for mobile cocktail making classes, cocktail experiences and related services ("Services") provided by Blayss Mix ("we", "us", "our").
By requesting a quote, paying a deposit or otherwise booking a mobile cocktail class with us, you agree to these Terms. If you book on behalf of a group, you confirm that you have shared and agreed these Terms with everyone in your party.
2. Bookings & Quotes
Our instant quote tool provides an estimate based on the details you enter (event type, group size, package and add-ons). A quote is not a confirmed booking until we accept it and you have paid any required deposit.
All mobile cocktail classes are subject to mixologist availability and venue suitability. We will confirm availability and the final details with you before your booking is secured.
You agree to provide accurate information about your event, including the venue address, access, group size and any dietary or accessibility requirements. Inaccurate or missing information may affect our ability to deliver the Services.
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices start from £35 per person with a minimum group size of 10. The final price depends on the package, add-ons and number of guests confirmed at booking. Groups of 20 or more may automatically receive a 10% discount on the per-person price.
A deposit may be required to secure your date and time. The deposit amount and balance due date will be confirmed at booking. The remaining balance is typically due before or on the day of the event, as agreed.
Payment methods will be advised at booking. Add-ons, bespoke cocktails and any agreed extras are charged in addition to the base package price.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your mobile cocktail class, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made in writing by email.
Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can usually be transferred to another available date if you reschedule, provided you give us reasonable notice (generally at least 7 days before your event).
If you cancel within 7 days of the event date, the full balance may become payable, as we will have already committed staff, equipment and ingredients to your booking.
If we have to cancel your booking for reasons within our control (for example, a mixologist becomes unavailable and we cannot provide a suitable replacement), we will offer to reschedule your event or refund you in full, including any deposit paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a cancellation.
5. Rescheduling
Subject to availability, we are happy to reschedule your mobile cocktail class to another date. Rescheduling with at least 7 days' notice is usually free of charge; within 7 days of the event a rescheduling fee may apply.
Any rescheduled date must be taken within 12 months of the original booking date.
6. Venue & Travel Requirements
Our mobile cocktail classes are delivered at your home, Airbnb, hotel, office or chosen venue. You are responsible for ensuring the venue is suitable and that you have permission to host the event there.
We require suitable table space, access to water, and a safe, well-lit area for the mixologist to work. If venue access or suitability issues prevent us from safely delivering the Services, we may need to adjust or curtail the experience, and no refund will be due in these circumstances.
We are based in Manchester and travel nationwide across the UK. For events a significant distance from our base, travel and/or accommodation costs may be quoted as part of the booking.
7. Conduct, Age & Liability
All guests taking part in a cocktail making class must be 18 or over. It is the booker's responsibility to ensure that alcohol is only consumed by guests aged 18 or over and to provide the venue responsibly.
Our mixologists are professionals and we ask that all guests behave respectfully. We reserve the right to stop or end a class early if any guest's behaviour is unsafe, abusive or unlawful. In such cases no refund will be due.
We hold public liability insurance for our Services. We are not liable for loss or damage to your property or venue, or for any injury caused by the misuse of equipment or alcohol by you or your guests. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for the safe consumption of alcohol and for arranging transport home.
8. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information you provide when you request a quote, make a booking, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us — for example your name, email address, phone number and event details. We use this information to provide and manage your booking, respond to enquiries, send booking confirmations and, with your consent, send marketing communications.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted third parties only where necessary to deliver your booking (for example the mixologist attending your event) or where required by law.
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or ask us to stop sending marketing communications, at any time by emailing us.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience and to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to your booking is the one in force at the time your booking is confirmed. We will give you reasonable notice of any significant changes to our cancellation or refund policies.
10. Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms, your booking or our privacy practices, please contact us at hello@blayssmix.co.uk or 0161 826 1426.
